Hi all,

I own an Infiniti qx50 and it seems forums etc are as sparse as the car! If this is the wrong place I apologise in advance

Hi Jolone. You're not in the wrong place exactly, but you're lucky enough to own a very exclusive vehicle!

We do have Infiniti owners on here so I hope they pop up and say hello soon.

In the meantime, have a look at our calendar and all the meets we have planned this year.  Hope to see you at one :)

Hi Paul,
Thanks for reply. As for exclusive it appears so! Struggle to find any parts upgrades etc without speaking to Infiniti and other owners for advice seem just as rare.
Will have a look at calendar are these z meets or are Infiniti's there too? Don't mean that to sound a silly question

Everyone is welcome!  We've proudly had Infiniti cars attend our meets in the past :)

As you are probably aware, Infiniti motas share a fair amount of components with Nissan cars so a number of upgrades will work on both.

Are you looking towards performance or cosmetic upgrades?

Bit of both probably. Love the car, it is the diesel model but it's got to one of if not the best diesel car I've had or driven. I'm looking to do something with the front bumper firstly as I think it would look better a bit squarer if you know what I mean. The car looks a treat being all black in and out and as I say I do like it, do you think there will be many performance tweeks can be done with it being a diesel?
Cheers

I can't speak for your particular car, but in general there are lots of gains to be made a turbo Diesel engine and a remap.  You can add lots of torque and good BHP too.

Thanks, looked at a couple that looked sort of plug and play but bit wary of them.

Hello and welcome. :hello:

It's been a while since we've had a new Infiniti owner on here, so it's really nice to see one again.  I always smile when I see an Infiniti, mainly on account of their rarity, so it would be good to see a picture or two of yours before she goes under the knife.

2007 350Z (my second Zed) - When you give up driving, you’re not going to look back wistfully on the car you owned with the nicest dashboard top or speaker grilles. You’re going to remember a car for its excitement and how it made you feel.
2011 Yaris 1.33 (my third Yaris) - With an extra 30cc and an extra gear it's become the S-Class of small cars.  Far less pretentious though.

Hi and welcome

There are a couple of us on here lucky enough to oven an Infiniti :teeth: I love mine, its my second ! The only thing that lets it down is our local dealer/service centre.

I had an Fx30 and now have a QX70 black edition.

Where are you based?

Hi all,

Ill post a couple of pics as soon as I can I don't intend to butcher it they're nice looking cars, I'd just like the front a bit deeper and maybe some discreet bits to be in keeping. Love mine too and I'm already declaring my next car to be another!
Any ideas for sources of parts extras etc? I don't know about anyone else but I find the Infiniti I have to deal with awful at best.
Glad I joined here now!!

That's absolutely lovely! Is the grill simply painted, standard or an after market? Have you had the lights tinted? Really nice looking car!
No my nearest dealership is Stockport, terrible! I've been waiting almost two months for some wheel nuts just because the locking key snapped which they advised isn't warrantable and despite having a code couldn't be replaced ( which is wrong) and wanted a fortune to remove locking nuts and sell me a new set. I had them off to change tyres, now just want standard nuts but even this is too difficult for them, I waited 3 months for a price for mats, they just don't seem to be bothered bothering themselves after sales

My car is completely standard. The tints on the glass, badges and grills is part of the black edition.

Sounds like its a general Infiniti thing to give bad service. They lost my car for a while, tried delivering it to a stranger, like you do and said.... it wasnt our fault ! ! I tried Leeds once they were good.

Looking forward to the pics of yours

No I was a little blue when I realised they had no idea where it was. It was on a low loader coming back to me from a service. Their blasé attitude really didn’t help.

You could check the salvos for bits from a black edition. That or what about plastikote spray paint, some masking tape... and voi...la ... lol. We could do it at our mod day. I love all the black on mine.

So, get washing and let’s have a look at what you’ve got. :teeth:

Its no wonder infiniti as a brand struggles with dealers as bad as Reading.

They hold no stock, everything has to be ordered in...... bla bla bla... the few times Ive had to take the car there I've had to brace myself before entering.
