Hi guys and gals  :hello:

So, I've been thinking about whether I should modify the Z with it being one of the Black Editions.

If I do then I may try and keep all of the original parts that I replace in case I want to revert it back to stock at any point (mainly in case I actually manage to keep it long enough for it to become rare...ish).

What would you do folks?

Just curious  :D

And history repeats its self.

The simple fact that you have asked means you are highly likely to.

Many a member has come on her when they first bought their cars and said,...... I wont mod it, I love it just they way it is...... slippery slope.

What ever you do, do it because Its something you want to do. Maybe some new wheels, a new exhaust, a new Z badge, whatever, they are fun to mod, so enjoy

Sarah :)

Thanks Sarah  :D

Oh I’m more than likely to, it’s only the fact that it’s a limited edition that makes me think twice

If it were mine I would keep the mods to a minimum, exhaust, chipping etc but being a Black Edition I wouldn`t do anything that couldn`t easily be put back to stock.

IMHO I haven`t seen any wheels that look as nice as the ones they came with and I haven`t many bodywork mods that enhance it but plenty that spoil the clean look, but it`s your car so it`s your choice  ;)

I had a 40th and played with a few mods. I kept all of the original parts though, just in case. Its selling time that really begs for standard.

Exhaust, Cold air feeds, brakes, suspension, anti roll bars, LSD are all easy to revert.

TT and S/C not so much, but add a lot of fun to the car  :D.

Its your car, anything can be reverted given money and time (both vary).

I'm with you there, I love the wheels and wouldn't want to ruin the lines of her. Not sure I even want to lower her as the drive is very 'sporty' already :)

At the moment just some short tails, maybe a remap and most likely switch out the sat nav system, though if I can find a recent nav update I may leave it as is. Brakes are a possibility at some point too. I have to admit though, I am very much considering a S/C down the line...  ^_^

Usually I'd look at doing cold air feeds too, but I've just removed the one on my Saab as it was constantly getting clogged up with crap, so may just switch out the filters instead...or not...oh dear, it's going to happen again, damn you mod bug ;)

If you go anywhere near FI, then brakes are a must. I never had to change the Claiper, but disc, pads and fluid were upgraded. I have not heard of any of the 370 air feeds becoming blocked, but they will be redundant if you go S/C, which will net you around 500-550 bhp if using Horsham. It's a game changer!

One of the best performance Mods you can make is Performance Driver Training. Our long-time friends at CAT Driver Training can teach you so much about your car's handling capabilities and limits...

Yeah I wouldn't go FI without that first, good to know that you didn't need to change the callipers though. Guess I need to start saving circa £5k for that then :D

I never really thought about changing those...I'll look into it, thanks :D

Any recommendations Paul?

I have Whiteline ones on mine (for more years than I can remember!) There's nothing wrong with them, but if you want to spend a little extra on a more popular brand then I think Eibach is the way to go.
