Well, what a truly great guy FankieZZ is and the hospitality that he and his wife Julie showed to us on a two day visit was incredible.
Unfortunately, i did not have Zeus with me, so the Chysler Seabring convertable had to do.
I will post some photo's during next week so those of yuo who have been seeing FrankieZZ posting, will get to see him in person. Well, photo anyhow.
Back to the trrp to see Frank. 150 mile drive to arrive in the edge of a huricane. What a storm...
Then off to Maine to see Bush's house, unfortunately he was not in so could not go in for a pre dinner drink. Then dinner for us in Kennebunkport. Great New England fishing harbour. Wonderful food.
Woke up on Thursday morning to chamapgne and yet more food. Boy do i need to get to the gym and on a diet.
Any how, just one big up for the big man that is Frank. Anyone over here on vacation on the eastern seaboard, should take the time to call and see him.
Thanks Frank, even got yo drive his Zed !
That's it for the minute from this side of the pond.

Hi Doug,

Send my regards to Frankie and family. Top man.

PS: We had a Sebring in Frisco. Horrible thing but at least it was a convertible. I sorted a Mustang for LA..

Cheers

That's part of out 'Tac Demo' that is done at airshows. It's a tactic used if there is lots of possible small arms fire around an airfield - keeps you as high as possible for as long as possible. It was developed by the Yanks during Vietnam at a place called Khe Sanh and is hence known as a Khe Sanh approach.

But that is one of the aeroplanes that I fly! A C130J.

Here's me being spotted by some aircraft spotters at Maastricht in Holland during the Pakistan Earthquake Relief.

Seb.
Bit of a plane geek.
Was trying to explain this to the girlie @ RIAT on Sunday.
She was SO impressed that i knew so much and when we were walking the apron and i said "oh look C130j, you can tell by the shape of the prop blades"
Good work on the relief aid work. So envious of you flying. Even into difficult situations and airfields.
