Try sending a pm to Jez he might know more as he lives down that way
He is kind of rather busy right now with something called a 'wedding', mad man he is
I know you are a long way away but how about signing up for the National meet next month

Other than I keep meeting Mark I at Gordano services off to meets and events in other parts of the country, that has been about it.
Anyway, no reason we can't change that and get a bit of life going down here
First off, if any of you gents would like to step up as the SW Regional Co-ordinator (as we have a vacancy), then please drop me a PM if you want to know what it entails (besides getting a first meet off the ground
Whatever, we can try to sort something for the next month or so regardless, so post up a few dates if you are SW based and we can at least get something going to get off our duck!!!

However, a local meet sounds good. I am in North Cornwall, but more than willing to travel a bit ( I get used to it from here!!)
As for dates - my work is a bit hectic with days off as and when i can, therefore I will try and fit in with the majority.
Heres hoping it comes off!!

Don't really want to go very much beyond 100 miles or so if poss. from Southampton.
No problem with dates as a rule. Weekday evenings probably not the best for this kind of distance but will consider anything as I like being out in the Z. Night driving not too good though - don't find the lights very good but maybe it's just me.

I like the sound of Dorchester - pass by it quite a bit but never sem to stop there. Lets hope someone takes on the co-ordinator role and pulls it together

I'm sure between you that you can organise a meet
after all, all you need is
1 - Venue - Dorchester
2 - Attendees - You lot
3 - Date and Time
Simple really

Have you any idea how tempting you make it sound?

It's only a couple of hours from me as well, might be tempted to drop in.

It's a long way from Cornwall but if you are passing through and know when, I'll happily fit in (odd work-related evening events excepted) with your schedule.
Anybody else? FU FU, I see. Jez?

See mudhut has already said he may head across the bridge to the 200sx guys meets that bigtone still goes to.....likely to be 29 October.
Could adopt this for a "north (west)" of the region meet and do the Dorchester one as a "south(east)" of the region meet in November sometime.

if this opens out a bit more, perhaps he could be invited in the Public Access arena?

Not familiar with "Cardiff Gate" - the services at M4 J30 yes?
Planning to be there after some family visiting Swansea and Llandeilo areas on the Sat or will make an early start from home.
