I feel really bad Kev.
So what are the "Must have" items for a trip to the Green Hell? I've got loads of time to prepare.

I find the colour of all the HV jackets clashes with the car (Its so not me!). Can I just run back down the track waving a piece of Ultra Yellow bodywork?
(Or perhaps I could borrow Fuku-Fuku's crash helmet - That's hi-viz!)

Seriously take something reflective, it might not be you who has the accident. We dont joke about accidents at the 'ring. And DONT run back down the track, you will get run over, as it very hard to see people in the middle of a track at 140 plus. Stay on the grass. and go back as far as the previous corner.

Qucik post to say got back yesterday from our "Jolly".
What a fantastic weekend although the track was wet, covered in leaves, and it rained all day Sunday (A less damp line started to emerge Sat after lunch but then it rained again)!
Managed to do 30 laps all told, mostly in the rain and cloud. There were just the two Zs in the group, plus that annoyingly fast bloke in the Mondeo, and Alfa S Z(?) and a v quick BMW diesel.
Down point was the spin of the BMW which is sadly now having to be recovered. Great shame, they were having a good time.
High point was steadily reducing my time (Sat). That other fellow seemed to be 40secs per lap consistently quicker than me - but he's got the stubby aerial kit!
Fantastic weekend so muchas thanks to Colin and CAT for coming up with the idea!
Now back and looking at the bills! Thank goodness it wasn't dry - adding tyres to the bill might have wiped the smile off my face!
I'm still full of it so you may see another post!

I have never wasted a set of tyres out there. Even in 40 degree heat. The track is too long. I have done over 100 laps and 14,000 miles of road use (totalling 16k) on the original brigstones! The track allows everything to cool down on the straights. Its when you start doing multiple hot laps that things will start to go off, which is not a good idea for a novice. I have posted some photos on Fuku's ring thread.
Glad you are all ok.
