You can buy tickets for any of the 4 days the show is on.

To get free tickets you need to be in the industry but they have tightened up immensely over the last couple of years and don't give out tickets freely like they used to. My free ticket came from our customer - AP Racing.

Even if you are an exhibitor, it's difficult to get free tickets!!

The official line is you can only buy tickets for the trade days if you're in the Motorsport trade, which we're not.

Are you saying they don't police it very effectively? We're not bothered about getting in for free, just avoiding the crowds.

Trade day is for exactly that - and not for public. They do not sell trade day tickets to the general public. The is a vetting process thats adhered to and tickets are sent in your name (as a credit card) to the trade company you registered with.
Fortunately I have a trade reference (I have some close friends in the motor industry) and was able to get a trade access. And yes it was nice and empty! I'm applying for media access as we speak for nest year

You can just pay on the door.

Trust me, they won't turn anyone away with £26 in their hand.

A friend of mine is going today and just paying on the door.

Agreed Dash, it is supposed to be for trade only, but if you turn up to pay cash they don't bother about vetting!

Thought I'd just follow up on Dash's long report ! :D ! on the Show .... it's an annual trip for me and definitely worth going as there is always something new to see. For general interest there are 2 z's on show ... a Veilside Z and a drift Z. Both look fantastic and are worth a look. My chat with Dash included a whole 2 minutes on the show .. and then 15 minutes on his and my favourite topic ... the Ring!
End of Report!
