Two snags in my plan
1 - the £5m liability insurance required when renting the track. Anyone an insurance dude who could help us out?
2 - you need to obtain an entertainments licence from Aberdeenshire council. Not sure how difficult this is but they will help.
There are some other clauses but I am willing to undertake these if we can sort out the items above.
Good news is it's £30 an hour +vat for use of the track. We could hire for an hour or maybe two if numbers permit and have a blast.
If I can get a plan for the insurance in place then I will find out about the licence!

Count me in
Got a mate in Aberdeen who has a hotel / pub / function room.
If you find that the council are not playing ball then give me a shout as I am sure that he will have a few contacts regarding the issue of "entertainment Licence"

This sounds like a good laugh.
I've fixed my car - been hitting off the the limiter too many times
Game on!

I'm away for a week mid-April but around after that, and it's my 30th Birthday at the end of the month so would be a fun day out for that

Just did a search for Pug clubs at Alford and came up with this...
Alford Track Day, 10th April - PugScotland
You need to register to read it but sure they'll be helpful if you ask about the insurance, unless you want me to ask but you seem to be doing such a good job of organising so far
Let us know how you get on
