Third South East Regional meeting

Imperial War Museum Airfield Duxford Cambridgeshire

Sunday 27 May 2007
Bank Holiday weekend

Arrive at Duxford Airfield no earlier than 10:30am

This is a combined meeting with the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club

The entry fee for the day will be just under 10 and I think that Duxford is a great venue for a day out. If you have not been there before you will have a good time. Sadly there is unlikely to be time for a combined run out in convoy unless we work things out to leave the airfield during the afternoon but this may seem rather rude if we do. So please regard this as a static meeting. A convoy up or down the M11 motorway will be easy to organise though.

Guys I would like a huge turn out here as the airfield is vast and our cars would be lost if we only had 20 cars there. Come on please commit to the meeting and see if we can get the total attendance up over 40

Please print off the attachments for your own reference. The screen card will be needed for quick identification for the Duxford staff so please do not forget it otherwise you may not be given entry B)
If you have any questions please ask me

I will add your names as and when you tell me ;)

Please let Smoky know if you plan to attend, updated 27-5-07...

Guys.... I am going to leave it until the Saturday to decide as to whether I am going to attend this meeting. I am not doing anything in particular on the Sunday but the recent happenings here are making me feel this way.

Sorry

Took a ride over today, we will need a lot of cars to make a dent at the front of hanger one. 40-50 would look good :( ,coming into the new entrance and the main shop area the suggested location for the static display is likely to be very well sighted by visitors, in the summer sun and with the Jag's I would say it will all look quite a show.

For those who have never been or not in the past few years - Duxford has really come on with lots of new hangers/buildings, and amazing to get up close and climb into the original Concorde test plane. For years you could see it from the M11 as it stood outside in all weathers.

If anyone needs any help setting up on the morning (or day before), let me know and I will come over to duxford. It is going to be a really great day - just need lots of cars!

Guys.... you must support Smoky (Rich) with this event.

Duxford will be seriously pi55ed off if this club only turns up with 20 cars

Rich.... I have crossed my name off the list in the first post of this thread. You know why I will not be there with a Z but I may turn up with a different beastie :)

Come on confirm your attendance :)
