To quote one of the local papers this week "Boy racers want a safe place to meet......without being moved on by the police. Mr X said "We just want somewhere to sit and chat about cars. We'd also like to be able to drive our cars on tracks. They've got skate parks for younger children but there's nothing for us to do."
Don't mess with the SWOC Cruiser Zed boys. We'll be back!!!

Sorry I missed that; I would have come up from PZ... I could do with scrubbing off the remaining mil or so on my tyres; I've got a set of T1Rs to go on
As for the Saxo boys, why do they do that?? ... even against a 911 GT3 they STILL think they have a chance

Well now we have eventually started, hopefully we will manage to get together sometime again before 2008
The Saxo boys ?- we were all young once (I can just about remember)...and why not..I started with an S plate (1977) Cherry - honest
I was saying to a couple of the guys today it's a shame as Weston Wheels has had to be abandoned due to spiralling insurance costs for the organiser (a young guy 25 set this up a few years back) over the August bank holiday weekend. Gave those into that scene something to do and get together.
They put loads of speed humps along the front at Weston as where we met did become a bit of a drag strip...just as you get older you can more easily afford to go on trackdays and stuff....same basic instinct though I guess.
Anyway, hope to see you at the next one SR

The highlight was definitely the visit to Weston's equivalent to the Ace Cafe - MacD's,
Next time we might get enough Z's so we don't have to share the car park with Novas & Saxos, so we can get on with flexin Z style...... innnit.
Laters....
