Did you just suggest a Mini Coupe as an alternative to an Estate Car? As a dog owner myself, I think I would struggle to get the dog, paraphernalia and shopping or the like into a Coupe. The Macan's boot isn't much bigger than a normal though hatch in fairness - an Octavia estate for example has 640 litres of space so the gap is a little wider

Nope mate you read about it. From what I have seen its a 370z Chassis and built up from there. 3ltr Twin Turbo Engine - sounds great so far doesn't it. Alas though it has no way of passing the Europe Emissions standards and won't be coming to us or Europe and if this pandemic continues we will see if it even happens. The next Zed we will see is likely to be EV or similar. The 370z will be the last Petrol Zed in the UK - unless someone thinks different?

Very late to the party here, but.... A modern classic - BMW E39 5 Series Tourer in Sport guise - a 540i 4.4 V8 (I just sold my saloon version) or a 3.0 530i with the best BMW engine, the straight six. Not overly large exterior dimensions, but a somehow cavernous boot area!

Its worth noting that these lights are both dimmed and brightened with the dash illumination knob. I always drove mine with the dash illumination as low as it could go and never really noticed it.

Blimey, this thread's very European. The only suggestions missing are the most obvious ones: something with four rings on the front, and either a 4 or a 6 on the rear; or, something from Bavaria, with a number beginning either with a 3 or (probably preferably, as I could almost live with a 5-series) a 5 on the rear.
