a great reminder of one of the reasons why I stopped coming here. Why on earth was my post in the Private Meets board deleted with no message sent to me? It wasn't breaking any forum rules and again I find the over moderation amazing. I don't think having that post in the private meets board was wrong, there are people who may well not go into the public meets section and didn't know about it. Hi all, Not been on too much recently (what with work and the little one) and I popped on today to see if there was anything about the Annual Crimbo meet at the Ace, well I can't see anything so I thought I would get the ball rolling. http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/default.asp...m=12&y=2008 is a link to the December activity list for the Ace and I wondered what people think? Obviously they have stopped the dedicated Jap Car night due to stupidity but that doesn't mean we can't still meet up there. So what dates do people like? I like the 8th of December but am open to suggestions. Due to the fact that no date is going to suit everyone I have decided to make it the 13th of December @ 8pm, this is a Saturday and doesn't really crash any one elses events (as it was a tad rude after all). I am fully aware that this won't suit everyone and I am sorry for that but this does make it easier for everyone if a date is proposed sooner rather than later (it is only 2.5 weeks away after all ) Names on the list please. Give Sky Insurance a call (http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/) they have done a really good job with my car and they are mod happy. I got better quotes from them rather than from Adrian Flux.

I was going to suggest giving the car back because it doesn't work as advertised and subsequently falls out of the sale of goods act. As previously mentioned, you bought a car that doesn't actually work correctly, unless they can correct those issues now you should have no issues giving it back and demanding a full refund.

Having owned an 06 and now an 07 I have to agree with go for the 07, I love mine even more than I loved the 06. There is something sexual about the lump in the bonnet as well.

I think I will be camping... in my nice warm bed 20 minutes up the road I will be there on Sunday (getting the Z serviced tomorrow morning). I can bring things over on Sunday if anyone wants something.

Busy with work, I work for a London based charity at the moment, let me tell you they are a complete PITA, I now remember why I swore off them the last time. The one good thing out of this is that they are paying for me to go on training courses (unheard of as a contractor), likely to be skimming over now and again but won't be back full time for a while.

Please let me know the next time something like this is happening, not been around lately due to work so pop me a pm and I will get the mail telling me I have one.

Umm unless they have started using 3m film I wouldn't bother, there were lots of issues of film lifting after periods of time. Mind you I am a bit of a fanboi when it comes to Paintshield but I will say that it's been worth having it done for piece of mind.

I was wondering the same thing, I wouldn't be without mine.... unless of course it's some of the cheapy crappy non Paintshield film.

Well folks I got my car back yesterday from the nice people at Paintshield, some of you may not know that I had the car done late last year and that at the time they put the 2 piece bonnet onto the car, having seen the new 1 piece bonnet I decided to get Tom to put that onto the car at the same time that he was doing something else for me. Now on to the neat part. I saw a request from Tom recently to have a couple of doner cars for them to try something new, I happened to give him a call and found out that I was the first person to actually respond so I am proud to say that I am also the first person to have a completely Paintshielded car, I am talking doors, roof, rear wing (including the Nismo wing) as well as spats. I turned up at the SuperCar Sunday show today and showed the car off, unless you actually know it's there you really couldn't see it. I would also suggest looking at the Stillen True Dual, I have had both (Nismo on the first Z, Stillen on the second) and I would have to say that the Stillen sounds better.
