  1. I'm learning to make some beautiful music with her Chubbs! I can't remember the last time I turned the Gracenote on as I'd much rather listen to the invidia over the crap I've got on the HD 🀣. I'm looking forward to wearing her in to get to the burbbles on Decel too! Now I managed to pick up a new second hand stormforce car cover my mission for this year is complete! I'm skint but she's worth every penny!
  2. I had more first proper drive out in it yesterday, boy oh boy does it sound like a beast!! Even the Mrs said she thought it was a bit too quiet when I first bought the car but now it sounds exactly as it should. Oh and I get what you mean about the smell of burning lol
  3. Thanks fellas, I'm itching to get out in it as the weather has been crap since it got fitted.
  4. Morning chaps and chaps' 😎 Finally received and Fitted!! It took a while but boy was it worth the wait! First fire up is now one of my best memories, nor quite up there with my daughter being born but it's in that ballpark lol. The mechanic who fitted it said it's the best fitting exhaust he's ever done, superbly crafted to a very high level too and he's being fitting exhausts for 25 years! A big thanks to you all for steering me in the right direction!
  5. Cheers John! A cover with a Z on would be fantastic πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž Thanks Paul, I'l ping Chas a message πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘
  6. No oppology needed Chubbs, if required the same outfit can be used if you ever take up the wonderful pastime of Morris Dancing 😎 I'm glad it's still coming on-time for you mateπŸ‘ The zaust should be here by next Friday as they said 10 days as it's in there overseas warehouse, or maybe sooner 🀞 Here's a quick link to the review i saw which tipped me over to the Gemini side... https://www.drifted.com/370z-exhaust-guide/ And a good video comparing the Gemini to the AAM shortails. It's a great watch and explains all the differences for newbs like myself..
  7. DECISION MADE Well fate played her hand and pushed me into making a decision, do i wait for the lesser known N1 which might be months or pull the trigger on the 1 left in the overseas warehouse Gemini with single layer burnt tips...... Ofcoarse I went with the well known and loved Gemini. I got chatting to a guy on YouTube who had the N1 and he said he deliberated over that or the Gemini, he took the N1 off after a couple of months as he couldn't bear the drone and went back to stock, his advice to me was to go for the Gemini as he wished he had. 10 days to wait and I'm as happy as the pro
  8. Hey chaps and chapes' Unfortunately due to my wife's son not now moving out till next year I'm having to leave the Z outside on the drive this coming winter. He doesn't live in the garage but all his crap and motorbike does so although I'd rather make him live out on the drive apparently that's an unreasonable suggestion according to misses Chris. Is there any particular cover that's a good fit for the Z and allows the air to flow through so the old moisture doesn't build up? Any help as always is very appreciated πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘
  9. Cleaned her!! Top to bottom. Foam Shampoo Clear water rinse Buff Wheels cleaner Wheel buff Interior Paint brush (little gaps) Spray for interior (mguires) Leather cleaner Hoover 1 hour and 30 mins but boy does she deserve it. As soon as I'd finished the sun came out. Happy days πŸ˜ƒ
  10. I guess your right Mr wings, you can always adjust the tails to gain a different note, I guess as you say it's like taking the tart fine dining so changing her attire accordingly πŸΎπŸΈπŸ‘Œ 2 great sounding exhausts there Dave!! My minds made up on the N1 now though πŸ‘ Although fate has played her hand and blighted me with a world wide exhaust pandemic of unavailable proportions 😱
  11. It's a lovely place Chubbs, you've got to make sure you get out of there before the tides rise above the only road out though or you will be making good use of that bed πŸ˜„πŸ‘Œ I've decided on the N1, lots of mind changing and going down the custom built to short tails back to the Gemini but my minds made up....... Out of bloomin stock everywhere! Apparently there's been some sort of pandemic or something going on? (I've been too busy falling in love with the new car) which has halted the good people of the exhaust making industry from making lovely invidia N1's or indeed any exhausts youde come t
  12. Hey Chubbs, you could of given me a shout if you were in the Z mate πŸ˜„ how long have you had the camper? I was just sitting in with the misses waiting to go out in the evening for her birthday dinner in one of those fancy 'nature dining pods' in Nayland. Mersea is great isn't it πŸ‘Œ I've messaged them on Facebook about my conundrum between the Gemini and the N1 so I'l see what they come back with. I've spoke to a couple of guys who put those vids up on YouTube and it seems the N1 is louder but maybe a tad less refined because of it, a couple of them love it and another one switched to a Gemini
  13. That does sound really good Chubbs!! Thanks for sharing it! Decisions decisions..... which ever way I go it's going to be a massive improvement, thanks for the tip about ordering from there website mate πŸ‘I might call the shop up and ask them about both systems too as I guess they might have dealt with the GT exhaust first hand. Sorry about rambling on about it chaps, this will probably be the dearest upgrade I do on the Z so I want to get it right πŸ˜πŸ˜„
  14. And now for another option...... Any one know anything about this other invidia offering? Its cheaper πŸ˜„ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264705887187
  15. Thanks for the feedback mate, I thought that was the right one but it's always good to get a second opinion πŸ‘ŒYour right about the MOT testers, luckily I know them very well so fingers crossed which ever way I go choice wise it should be ok 🀞🀞 Can I ask is yours a cat-back or a short tails set-up? Short tails do seem to get a bad rep for the drone but like you say these things are tested by the manufacturers and I'm pretty sure it's how you drive them with the right foot.
