  1. Well, Sarah's only gone and bought another one! This is her third now. The deal was sealed just a week or two before lockdown started and the car has been in the dealer since then. We almost took delivery a few weeks ago when the dealer took some staff off furlough but we said we weren't in a desperate hurry and other people where so we didn't mind waiting. Three days later the staff were furloughed again. Anyway, today it happened. Time to say goodbye to the yellow one (89,500 miles old), and hello to the new Gen 2. It's the Tekna spec car. Interesting they put black cover
  2. We have already taken Mrs Fred's Juke back to a dealer twice since Sept for work to be done under warranty (oxygen sensor failed causing MIL light to come on; mesh screen under sunroof jammed). Today I received a recall letter from Nissan UK for a software upgrade because the current ECU does not activate the fault system when it should, under certain specific circumstances. The car is a 1.6 Tekna petrol manual, but the recall letter does not tell me which models are affected I'm afraid. The closest dealer is Motorline, Kidlington but we won't be going there for reasons I won't put on open

  4. We have some news of the new JUKE NISMO RS that is just starting trial production in Sunderland: JUKE NISMO RS Extreme excitement as standard The flagship of the new Juke range, the Nismo RS is infused with motorsport inspired design, aerodynamics and engineering to deliver thrilling performance and handling in a road car. Performance is matched by an improved
  5. http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2013/05/03-2013-nissan-juke-nismo-fd.jpg The pictures look like the standard Juke Nismo to me but I suppose they haven't been revealed yet! Autoblog article here
  6. I have a new toy to play with over the next couple of days: It used to be a standard Juke DIG-T but Abbey have worked a little magic on it. I just went out for a little drive. It's an absolute hoot!
  7. Nissan Juke-R Duo with 1053whp by SP-Engineering, Syvecs and JM-Imports http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Nissan-Juke-R-Duo-with-1053whp.jpg The Nissan Juke-R is made by Nissan Europe Technical Centre in Cranfield and an UK motorsport engineering firm called RML who put the powertrain of a Nissan GT-R into a Nissan Juke bodyshell to create the world's fastest crossover. JM-Imports, an importer of Japanese tuner cars based in the UK, got involved in a project based on two Juke-Rs for a client in the Middle East, at a time when only prototypes were available from RML, the pr
  8. nissansportz are proud to announce the first pictures of the Nismo JUKE built in the Sunderland factory. This car is a left hand drive trial build (these are not the Nismo wheels) and was on display to Nissan staff at the factory yesterday. Many thanks to our man on the ground for the exclusive pictures!
  9. The good news: Nismo will be launched in the UK The bad news: only in JUKE form Congratulations to Sunderland who are going to make the Nismo JUKE (would I be right in thinking this is the first ever Nismo vehicle made in the UK?) Nearly 220 bhp sounds like fun! Article here I'm seriously keeping my fingers crossed Nismo comes to the UK in all it's forms
