  1. Hi everyone. Hope you're all keeping well and safe! As we've been in lockdown and to celebrate hitting 1000 subscribers, I've put together a video detailing all the mods made to our 370z Nismo so far: KW HLS 2 Hydraulic Lift Coilovers KW V3 Coilovers HKS intake filters Cobra High Flow Cat EcuTek +30hp tune EcuTek Connect + App Tarmac Sportz V2 Short Tails YattCar carbon fibre 2015+ rear spoiler-lip EVO-R Carbon B-Pillar EVO-R Carbon Mirror Covers Hope you enjoy...
  2. I took a friend on his first car meet and tunnel run. It happened to be with the German vs. Japanese Owners Club sister meet... "Surrey 350z and 370z Krispy Kreme Car Meet & Tunnel Run" A really friendly bunch. Sign up to their group page on FB if you want to hear about the next one... This was my experience...
  3. Had the Ecutek Tune from Abbey Motorsport with variable traction control, plus got the Ecutek Connect App and tried it all out at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground... (If you haven't already, make sure you check out the install video) The Abbey/Ecutek Traction is my default now. I switch off stock-traction routinely once I've started the engine. The Abbey/Ecutek TC is far less intrusive than the stock traction control. On the maximum TC setting, it's like it gives you a bit of trust that you know what you're doing (until you give it the first hint that you don't). It leaves you with just enoug
  4. I've just had the KW V3 Coilover Kit + HLS2 (Hydraulic Lift System) fitted to my 2018 370Z Nismo and I have to say, I love it!! Images below! Main features: Height AdjustableBump & Rebound AdjustableFront axel lift system at the touch of a buttonAuto-drop on turning off the engineIntegrated button, illuminating while in operationCompact hydraulic pump, fully concealable in the boot/trunk. Huge thanks to Abbey Motorsport on this build! We're not aware of anyone else in the UK with this full kit but if you know someone who has it, let us know. We also couldn't find any examples online o
  5. I've been meaning to post this for a while! If you are picking up or have picked up a new 370Z, especially the Nismo, double check: 1. Transport suspension blocks have been removed! 2. Towing eye cover is fitted. These are among the things that are supposed to be done during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) but seems several dealers have overlooked both. I've been seeing Nismos that sit a little high at the front... This is because of the suspension blocks that are fitted to the springs to stop the car bouncing around on the transporter. If the suspension is really stiff – like really rea
  6. Hi All, I've been recording my 370z Journey (among other adventures) and will soon be posting these on YouTube. Watch the trailer on YouTube. As my son and I have just started the channel, we need 100 subscribers to have our channel name as the URL... It would be great if you could give us your support by subscribing here. Watch the trailer now...
  7. Spotted in the car wash behind ASDA in Southampton Saturday 2nd Sept around 1pm
  8. Detailed the 370 today ready for Highnam Court tomorrow. Bit of a query The door fabrics and seat bolster are a very fine weave and I'm having difficulty cleaning them, tried a few things and different spray's, upholstery cleaners but nothing seems to work. They are not filthy but need a clean especially the door at the grab handle and the drivers seat bolster\edge. Anyone have a successful story to share? Ta Jim
  9. Please be gentle...... I've been watching plasti-dip videos and reviews for a couple of weeks now and as its removable it's a bonus. My13 Nismo is storm white and I was thinking of the attached for the wheels, the inside of the wheel and the door handles. The base colour is Matt Black, Red metallic next then, not shown on the attached, the gloss Has anyone changed the wheel colour of a storm white 370? Ta in anticipation
  10. Hi guys just thought I'd get a post on here to introduce myself, im now a proud owner of a 370z nismo which I picked up two weeks ago now.. As the topic suggests I waited for what seems like a lifetime, iv always had a thing for 350z's but was waiting for the time which I could get insured and when looking for one I stumbled across a a3 3.2vr6 which was too good to refuse for the same price. Long story short I regretted not getting a z ever since so I decided to get saving up again, pretty soon I realised I could be in with a chance of a nismo!! 3 years of weekends sat bored contemplating my

  12. On my other cars the sat nav shows the current speed limit for the road that your travelling. This unit does not? I get the voice saying speed camera but no visual indication of the speed limit for the road I am on? Is it a setting or doesn't it display ? Jim

  16. If a claim had to be made under a "Return To Invoice" Gap Insurance policy and you had originally purchased the car at a discounted price, would the insurance payout take you up to the discounted price you actually paid or to the prevailing list price at the time of the payout/claim? Let's suppose you are unlucky enough to have to make a claim after 3 years - surely even the basic list price of the car will have increased by then irrespective of any discount you might have obtained? If the insurance only pays out to what you actually paid, it seems to me it's quite likely that if the purch
  17. Ok so I've taken on board all your comments - and now look what I've done!! Crispy new MY16 Nismo is in stock and ready to be picked up ASAP. Now there's just the tiny problem of clearing out the junk from my garage but what an incentive!! Excited!!!!
  18. On the 22nd of May I went over to the Nurburgring in Germany to try out my Nismo 370Z on the track. I have made comments here before that I find the 370 hard to drive, certainly in comparison to previous cars I have owned. Also I have commented that I don't have much faith in the brakes. Well, getting the car over on to German roads has cured those thoughts. After a couple of laps the brakes now feel a lot more like I would expect brakes to feel. Maybe I just needed to wear them in a bit which I wasn't doing on UK roads. As for hard to drive, its definitely our bad roads that have made m
