Simon.
Well folks I got my car back yesterday from the nice people at Paintshield, some of you may not know that I had the car done late last year and that at the time they put the 2 piece bonnet onto the car, having seen the new 1 piece bonnet I decided to get Tom to put that onto the car at the same time that he was doing something else for me. Now on to the neat part. I saw a request from Tom recently to have a couple of doner cars for them to try something new, I happened to give him a call and found out that I was the first person to actually respond so I am proud to say that I am also the first person to have a completely Paintshielded car, I am talking doors, roof, rear wing (including the Nismo wing) as well as spats. I turned up at the SuperCar Sunday show today and showed the car off, unless you actually know it's there you really couldn't see it. Proof is in the pudding so to speak. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00489.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00490.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00491.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00492.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00493.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00494.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00495.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00496.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k226/Wolf823/TemperO/Paintshield/DSC00497.jpg All in all I am really pleased with the outcome, I certainly don't need to worry about leaving it super market car parks any more Quote The User formally known as SimonD\NismoD. Paul_S
WOW! Nice job I heard something about this but I didn't realise it was the whole car! How much weight does it add? My car is getting lighter all the time with the stone chips in the front bumper Quote 'A standard limited edition Yellow 370Z* with a plethora of minor bespoke mods' *one of 40 don't you know! Paintshield
Thank You Tom, it's great to know that some of my hair-brained schemes have potential GT-R will need protecting, but I guess Nissan need to build and deliver it first Yeah it would help to have the car first Your welcome Giles, TBH I was a little miffed to see stuff on the other forums about some guy starting his business because there were no full fronts four years ago etc, four years ago there was no film big enough and no plotters of sufficient size were even stock Items here. The fact is you were the person who kicked this all of on this very forum, we responded to your constant nagging and the rest as they say is history So everyone when you see this nonsense around the place here is the mantra "GILES DID IT" you deserve the credit , its unlikely this would ever have happened if I had not sent your posts and Pm's on the subject to 3M and other film manufacturers to get us the bigger films First Precut Full Front Customer car Blue Diablo (the one that has been featured in Evo)First Porsche Done Full Front white 996 GT3 (belonging to a well known trackday demon)First 350Z full front unfortunately was done on the dark side as we all know Best Wishes Tom Quote Please don't Pm email or call 01476 592777 www.paintshield.co.uk
