Paul_S
This is a general word of warning to anyone who is thinking of ordering anything from NavTool. Please think again I placed an order for a batch of reverse camera video converters worth over £1,300 in January and they still have not arrived. I have been constantly chasing my order and just get fobbed off by NavTool with all the excuses under the sun. I have since started investigating them and found other people who have experienced the same. I have reported this to the appropriate authorities and am in the process of attempting to claim my money back. Strangely NavTool do seem to honour some orders (presumably to keep their name out of the news) but I strongly recommend you do not trust them with your money. So right now I am forced to stop selling reverse cameras for 2009 370Z and Non-Nav GT-R until I find a suitable device and a supplier I can trust. I apologise to those who have been waiting for these to come back for sale. Chubbs
That's really, really bad. Haven't they been trading for some years? I really hope you get full financial redress , Paul. Do you think they're in the process of going out of business and just clearing the old stock, while at the same time ripping off innocent victims like you? What's their game? Are people in the USA having problems too? Quote A to Zee to B

Paul_S
Thanks guys. I really don't know what their game is. I know people in the US who have suffered too. NavTool have been around for years and I've bought from them before. The last time, a couple of years ago, they were a PITA to deal with but at least the kit turned up. I think I've an uphill battle ahead. But I'm selecting a low gear and am in it for the long haul Quote 'A standard limited edition Yellow 370Z* with a plethora of minor bespoke mods' *one of 40 don't you know! Paul_S
Yes, 'generic' products are available. I just need to find a good source and test the units out. But I've a load of other stuff going on at the moment so that won't be for a while. Quote 'A standard limited edition Yellow 370Z* with a plethora of minor bespoke mods' *one of 40 don't you know! Chubbs
I see someone has recently been making concerned/negative comments under some of their youtube videos, presumably to warn people about them. Can't do their sales any good, can it? If more people did this maybe they'd change their ways and try to resolve customer complaints? 'Outing' bad practice by companies on social media works, in my experience. I made a big fuss about poor treatment by Virgin Atlantic about 4 years ago and, to shut me up, they gave my wife & I free 'anywhere in the world' return plane tickets, to the destinations of our choice - which we used All the other passengers, who didn't make such a fuss, were fobbed of with a few quid. If a group of people gang up on social media they can make things happen. 1 Quote A to Zee to B

Mud
Hi Paul, sorry to hear this happen. It's never good when something doesn't get sent, but it seems you get quite a bit of stuff from them. Has your shipment been sorted? I've tried to contact you regarding availability, and found my way to this thread. If you ever get a hold of them or have one available I am after one. cheersM
Paul_S
Sadly, no. NavTool obviously had no intention of shipping the units. They just took my money. I have had a few emails from Action Fraud to tell me they haven't forgotten my case but there has been no progress. Reading between the lines they have bigger fish to fry and my loss is seen as 'low value' and not high on their priority list. In the mean time others get scammed too of course and the <insert expletive here> continues to get away with it. Neutreus
That's massively sh!t mate. As a matter of interest have you thought about the small claims court? If they don't pay then, you can get the bailiffs round to claim goods to the value of your claim (at least this is my knowledge of such things and assuming they don't have 23 other bailiffs trying to do the same for others too of course) Quote 2023 Cupra Formentor VZ2 310PS AWD - Pan Roof & 360 Birdseye camera - arrived 18th March '23. 2011 Gunmetal Nissan GTR Premium Edition - Litchfield Stage 1, Miltek Y-Pipe, Alcon Discs, Ferodo DS2050 Pads, Flat bottomed steering wheel - NOW MAKING MEMORIES FOR SOMEONE ELSE 2016 Sepang Blue Audi RS3 - APR Stage 1 tune with High Flow air filter and Secondary Decat Pipes - I'LL MISS THE POPS AND BANGS (BUT THE NEIGHBOURS WON'T) 2012 Pearl White 370Z GT Edition - Invidia Gemini catback exhaust with burnt titanium rolled tips, Stillen Gen 3 Intake Kit, UpRev, 15mm Eibach spacers, Satin Black painted bumpers - GONE TO A NEW OWNER WITHIN THE CLUB BUT WILL BE VERY FONDLY REMEMBERED. 2005 Gun Metal 350Z GT, Alezan Leather & plenty of mods - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

What would you say about the Naviks items on Ebay?Cheers MThe Naviks box does work but is wired for US cars so the loom would need modification. Did you say you're from Australia? If so, your infotainment system is different from the US and from the EU models. I've yet to find a wiring diagram for AUS cars so have never made a working kit for for you guys, I'm afraid.
