Thanks Jeff.  I will try purging now that the air con should be working more efficiently.  However, it was still going off yesterday after a 20 minute drive post air con re-gas.  Very frustrating to say the least.  It's the first thing that has actually made me want to sell the car...(I won't but it very frustrating)

Dave, I can’t find the thread but I think John_K was the other person who has had alarm issues. Don’t know whether he resolved his successfully.

Hello!

Still monitoring mine, but nothing heard for a while - phew. Hasn't moved since the 19th though. Will feedback more if/when i run her this weekend.

I am convinced cause is a moisture/lack of use combo

what I used was as many bags of silica gel I found that did the job. 

I hope the addition of silica gel bags will help. I have two in there at the moment and as far as I know it has not been in a flood...
