Please let me know Kind regards Rob Clarke
LESmo 8,015
Hi Rob, welcome to the OC. I fear this may well be the world of owning a NIsmo - it is lower than the stock 370z but unless its still got the shipping spacers fitted and then its undrivable. Is it a V1 (Big Wing) or a V2 with DRLs and the newer shape. If its the V1 its 6 inches bigger than the Normal Zed (front to back). I have scraped a few times in mine and anything but really slow speeds - if its a V1 I am currently on stock I have just been out to measure from the top (not exact as its raining) of the wheel arch to the road running at 69cm from the top of wheel arch to road (approx) on all 4 corners (give or take as I am not on a flat floor) Lowest point of my splitter is 12cm and the highest (Middle) is 14.5 cms I will also be slightly lower on the exhaust as its custom but never hit that so far - only the front splitter under tray. I have seen cars with Air Lift suspension (Bagged) and that may well solve the issue but you have to make space for the tank but does allow the suspension to be lowered and raised when needed. There is a Nismo on this site with it. Paul_S 8,946
Hi Rob, welcome to the OC.Show us a pic of your car and we'll be able to tell you if it's been lowered. If it has, the obvious answer to me would be to contact one of our Traders (Horsham Developments or Abbey Motorsport) as I expect they have standard suspension components from where people have had their car lowered. Rob Clarke 0
Hi Paul_S, I've tried a photo of the car but thwarted at every attemt due to the filesize being too large to download not matter how I try to compress, what's the best way of getting a photo image to you please? LESmo 8,015
Hard to tell. Need a V2 Nismo owner to measure the front clearance to the splitter. Wheel arches don't look far out to mine. Neutreus 2,111
Agree that we probably need to see a side on shot and/or a 45 degree shot from the front side but if I were a betting man and being forced to err on one side or the other, it certainly 'looks' lower than standard, in my non Nismo owning Z experience. Hi LESmo, I'm presuming that mine is a V2 with DRL's; not sure what they are, seeing as it hasn't got a big wing, my wheel arches measure 64/65 on front and 68/69 on rear, so again I'm guessing that it's just the front that's been lowered by 4 cm each side; 1 cm difference on one side to the other would be down to a slight incline on my drive me thinks, front spoiler measures 12cm off the floor. John_K 1,172
yes Rob, yours is definitely a Nismo v2. No big wing at the back, and Daytime Running Lights at the front.
