Good morning All,

i joined nissansportz many years ago, but after 3 years sold my nearly new 370z roadster, as it was my daily driver,

I've been through a few other cars, Audi Tts etc, but have now found myself driving a boring Nissan Qashqai Auto to work

as i have to commute 135 miles each day'

i have found myself looking for a fun car to drive and remembered back to the 370z roadster days, so i decided to look for one

that was really clean that i can keep and just use at the weekends for some fun in the sun.

After 6 months i finally found one and bought it just yesterday, ill be collecting next Saturday from the current owner

My previous 370z roadster was bought brand new in 2011,and was a Rose black Manual model, i have now bought a Jet Black, Auto roadster, 2010

with 51000 miles, full Nissan service history, its in amazing condition, its pretty standard, but has been really well looked after and only 3 owners from new

so thought i would put a little post on here as I'm now back to follow this great site

One question i have is that the original exhaust is pretty rusty as would be expected, it looks like surface rust, and there's no blowing etc

but what would be best to replace it with, i don't really want to spend £ 1000+ on a exhaust for it, are there any rear pipes that are not to loud !

that i could replace the back box with ( i don't want a dragster sound ) if you know what i mean !!!

First pic is my old Rose black Roadster , second photo is my new Jet black Roadster

Regards Paul from Essex uk.

Welcome back, mate!

A few of us have the Invidia Gemini catback - loud when you want it to be. But a new one would set you back approx £1,000. Having eventually bitten that particular bullet, I'd say it's worth every penny. Cheaper ones are usually too loud.

As you're in Essex, your neighbours will probably think, "Invidia - Ooooh, what a nice, quiet exhaust!"

...Just had an alternate thought - I still have my original exhaust system if you just want to update yours, but don't want to spend a lot of cash. It's in good nick, came off my 65-plate car when it was about 2.5 years/15k miles old. It's been in a dry garage ever since. PM me if you're interested. I'm not far from you, in Herts.

Just had a look at the exhaust. It's stamped as having been manufactured in September 2015.

well got it home yesterday in torrential rain ( 125 mile journey )

today I've given it a good clean, and overall very pleased, few stone chips on the front bumper and rear wheel spats

but nothing a touch up stick wont sort out

but i do have one problem, the roof seems to have a leak on the drivers side, the footwell behind the seat is wet, don't think its been happening long

but it appears to be leaking through the bottom seal into the roof storage cavity and under the carpet, so ill have to have that all out and investigate

that's why we love Roadsters !
