Chubbs
Over the past few days my door lock has started making a very loud grinding sound when it's locked. Found the fix on YouTube. It's actually easier on our cars, because you don't need to unscrew the 3 screws. Took me literally 10 seconds. Here's the fix: 1 Quote A to Zee to B
Dave G
Nice tip! Neither of my doors are doing it (yet...) but if it occurs then at least I know the fix. Thanks for sharing.

I looked and - lo & behold - the pin had just started to work its way out slightly again, so I'm currently thinking about ways of gluing something over the end, to stop it coming out again. Any suggestions gratefully received! Quote A to Zee to B
Gav C
Maybe put some threadlock on the exposed part of the pin and then when you press it back in it might help hold it there. 1 Quote Current: Metallic pearl white 2012 370z GT Edition, Invidia stainless cat back exhaust, Stillen Gen 3 Intakes and K&N filters and a UpRev remap

Fingers crossed it does the trick, if not it`s back to the drawing board 😂 1 Quote Current: Metallic pearl white 2012 370z GT Edition, Invidia stainless cat back exhaust, Stillen Gen 3 Intakes and K&N filters and a UpRev remap

Wouldn't want to f*** the actuator mechanism, would I? I'm currently planning to go back to Option A - aralditing something over the end of the pin.
